The JHSC and First Aid
Because the JHSC has a foundational knowledge of health and safety theories and processes, it is recommended that all JHSC members be first aid certified.
Employee members are also spokespeople for the staff, and workers often approach JHSC members when they need help. Be sure that your JHSC is prepared to handle any situation by providing first aid training.
