- Participants must bring their own respirator, and ensure it is clean.
- Participants must bring any PPE they wear, that could interfere with the respirator’s seal (i.e., safety glasses, face shields, hearing protection, etc).

Post Pandemic Business Recovery

As the rate of infection decreases, the province will lift emergency measures; allowing businesses to return to regular operations. Ensure you are doing this safely, by calling MidSouthWest to help with policy and procedure writing for businesses operating as usual, returning after shutdown, or working remotely.
Health & Safety Management System

The purpose of a Health and Safety Management System (Policy Manual) is to promote awareness and proper behaviour within your organization.
This can be accomplished by developing work ethics and management systems that encourage safe handling practices with the highest values being placed on integrity and the health and safety of workers, visitors, contractors, and the surrounding community.
Our manual includes policies, procedures and rules that encompass various areas of health, safety and emergencies. Our manual also includes various forms, inspections, audits and assessments as well as a process for review, continuous improvement implementation and enforcement of policies.
In addition to the above mentioned, processes are also included for ongoing training and review for both the health and safety program as well as behaviour based performances.
We believe that this is an important and vital part of the safety program.

Gap Analysis / Audit

A Gap Analysis will assess your Health and Safety Policy Manual or Management System that is currently in place against the set of requirements set out by the WSIB WorkWell Audit and CSA Standard z1000. In this case, we would take each requirement, compare it to what is currently in place, and assess what is required to be compliant with the Ministry of Labour, Training, and Skills Development (MLTSD), Occupational Health and Safety Act, WSIB and necessary CSA Standards. MidSouthWest Training and Consulting will then provide prioritized written recommendations based on these findings, to ensure compliance.
One other use for a Gap Analysis is to assess an implemented Health and Safety Policy Manual or Management System, against changes in the Occupational Health & Safety Act and Regulations, WSIB and CSA requirements.
